The National Free Press does not borrow, steal or copy any articles from any sources online or elsewhere.

All written material on the NFP website and its subsequent Editions are sent in by the Authors, Columnists, Contributors, Cartoonists and Organizations. Other material is sent via news-releases or new services.

1. What is the National Free Press?

The National Free Press is for everyone - no matter where they are from - no matter what colour they may be - no matter what age or gender - no matter which political group they belong to - no matter which deity they worship or the one they don't. It is a Global Public Publication and Web Site.

It is an advertisement-free, independent international editorial newspaper, with an accompanying web site providing a variety of editorial material from people around the world. As well as available daily world news, free speech and free press news, and environment news and info from accredited news sources and news organizations.
Covered in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, the NFP exercises the Rights of Free Press, Free Speech and the Freedom of Expression and encourages people from around the world to use the NFP as their means to express themselves within editorials, open letters, letters to the editor, articles, editorial cartoons and comments in this medium.

2. What is the NFP's objective?

It is the world's neutral ground for global personal expression by providing people around the world with a credible news medium to display their written material through editorials, open letters, articles etc., without fear of retribution or retaliation.To bring people around the world the thoughts of others in reference to Free Speech, Human Rights and the Environment.

To create individual National Free Press' for individual countries, in the hope of developing a World Wide Public Media System, powered by people from around the planet.

3. Does the NFP lean toward any particular political ideology?

No. The NFP is neutral political territory and does not lean in favour of any political ideology.

The NFP provides the public with news releases from a variety of political clubs, factions, associations, organizations and political parties from around the world.

4. Who can contribute to the NFP?

This publication is open for everyone to participate with, from seasoned pros to amateurs, from the young to the elderly, whatever their lifestyle, religious or ethnic background is. We open the door to those with something constructive to say, to those who would like to express themselves in a publication for the first or hundredth time.To become a Contributor, please see Contributor's Information page. 5. Does the NFP publish everything it receives?

No. Not all contributions are geared for the publication, by either being off-topic or by being inappropriate material. The NFP has Publishing Standards that are upheld.

6. Is the NFP a Company?

The NFP is a Registered, Sole-Proprietorship Business under Canadian Law. However, as stated in the Publishing Standards and Policies, the NFP has been donated to the Public by the Publisher. It has been, and it will continue to be, based upon the structure of other not-for-profit organizations. It is a private not-for-profit organization and is maintained by volunteers.

7. Who financially supports the NFP?

The NFP is supported through subscriptions and private non-tax-deductible donations. The profits of sales of NFP Outerwear from the NFP Store (new store coming soon) are also distributed back to the NFP.

8. Does the Publisher have updates about the NFP for the public?

Yes. the Publisher uses his Blog to post updates about the NFP or the Website. Members have access to the Blog.

9. Are there any ads allowed in the newspaper or on the website?

No. It is advertisement free from all sectors; corporate, non-profit groups, and the government. The NFP is free of outside corporate influence. The NFP will accept Sponsorships. (Please see #9 - Advertising Policies)

10. Does the NFP have publishing standards?

Yes. The NFP is accountable to the contributors, subscribers and the public; and has strict publishing Standards and Policies which can be viewed on our website.
